Nicole Marie Hunt is a Meisner-trained actor, coach, and activist based in New York.

 

In 2018, she returned to acting full-time after an 8 year stint in Washington D.C. where she worked in and with the Obama campaign and administration, the NAACP, SEIU, and other progressive organizations.

 

Before returning to New York in 2021, Nicole was in Detroit looking after family, and it was there that she reignited her acting career at the historic Detroit Repertory Theatre.

 

In New York and regionally, Nicole has performed in 20+ theatre productions, and made her Off-Broadway debut at WP Theatre in “Valley of the Shadows” in late 2023. She has also worked on and in several independent films (including “Merry Go Round” which garnered her several Best Actress nods and wins on the festival circuit), web-series and national commercials.​

 

As a coach, Nicole works with early career actors to help refine and perfect their audition techniques, as well as lending some career guidance. She does not believe in "gatekeeping" and is happy to share her knowledge and experience.

 

Nicole also works closely with well-established actors seen on Broadway, television, streaming and film to help them create fully-realized characters with deep emotional lives.

 

Nicole originally trained under Bill Esper at The William Esper Studio. She received additional training at The Studio Theatre, Folger Shakespeare Theatre, T. Schreiber Studio, HB Studio,and The Juilliard School.
